Love Story eben & sasa

First Meet (2016)
We both entered the Faculty of Education in 2016. Although we were in different majors, destiny
and our faculty brought us into the same group during our first teaching internship in 2017. It
lasted only two weeks, but it was enough for us to start talking and chatting. It may have
seemed ordinary, but we believe it was a beginning beautifully arranged by God.

Relationship (2018)
Our early days felt like an unstable phone signal. Sometimes we were close and caring,
sometimes we acted like strangers. We even got to know other people, but it was only a way to
fill the gap. Still, God kept arranging moments that brought us back together. It felt like He was
teaching our hearts to be patient and grow.(2018)

We started talking again, this time with more honesty and openness. We shared our thoughts
about the future and supported each other. On May 25, 2019, we officially became a couple. It
was more than just a label. It was a step of faith. We committed to guarding each other’s hearts
and building a relationship that pleases God.(2019)

The pandemic kept us apart. I stayed in Kalimantan and she was in Sulawesi. But God’s love
never fails. Through WhatsApp, video calls, and occasional visits during holidays, we stayed
connected and continued to grow together. Even in the distance, God drew our hearts closer.(2020)

Engagement (2024)
After going through many seasons, we knew this was not a love born out of coincidence. It was
a love nurtured and shaped by God. On December 29, 2024, I came to her family’s home to
propose. With the blessing of our families and by God’s grace, we got engaged.

Married (2025)
While preparing for the wedding, we attended premarital classes from our church. We learned
to build a strong marriage with Christ at the center. On June 28, 2025, we will make our vows
before God and those we love. It is not just a promise to love each other, but also a commitment
to keep God at the center of our marriage.
